Standard Duvet Dimensions The Tuft & Needle Duvet is slightly oversized compared to standard duvets, to make sure that your bed looks and feels as cozy as possible. Standard duvets may be 1-2 inches smaller each way, but we believe the best sleep needs just a little more to snuggle into.

Duvet Covers Most duvet covers will fit standard duvets, and we’ve oversized our 100% Supima® cotton percale cover to fit our duvet insert measurements. Duvet covers can have many different features, from corner loops to secure inserts from sliding around to button or zipper enclosures. Our down alternative duvet insert and cover were designed to fit each other perfectly, with corner ties and a zipper closure so there’s no fuss.

Weight Duvet inserts often come in several different weights. If you’re looking for something all season, a light to medium weight should be ideal. If you’re in a much colder climate or like to feel nice and toasty at night, a heavier duvet is probably more your speed. Fills can also vary, so a feather or down duvet may feel warmer than a lighter material, but weight is the most accurate gauge for warmth.
